Florida Sheriffs Day at the Capitol a Success

It was a glorious day April 19 in Tallahassee for the First Annual Florida Sheriffs Day at the Capitol. We enjoyed clear skies and a cool breeze. It was a perfect day for the Sheriffs of Florida to demonstrate their work. Governor Charlie Crist dropped in to greet the mix of law enforcement, legislators and the public. He is one of only six "Honorary Sheriffs" in the 115-year history of the Florida Sheriffs Association, receiving the honor in 1995, when he was a Senator.

We captured a few of the moments on camera. If you missed it, please be sure to join us next year!
