Life Insurance Programs

     The Florida Sheriffs Association Law Enforcement Membership is open to all Sheriffs' Offices as well as local, state and federal law enforcement agencies' sworn and non-sworn personnel, volunteers and auxiliary officers. Your $25 membership automatically entitles you to receive a $2,500 Line of Duty death benefit and the following accidental death insurance coverage:

salary replacement for one year base annual salary paid out over
twelve (12) months for Criminal Justice Agency salaried personnel.
All others including volunteers and auxiliary officers will be entitled
to a maximum benefit of $20,000.

day care benefits up to $2,500 per year

educational benefits, up to $2,500 per school year for dependent children

spousal retraining up to $3,000

Law Enforcement Members may also participate in the Pre-Paid Legal Services Program. This program is designed to give you and your family affordable access t legal services for both personal and business-related matters. It's your benefit of protection against countless legal matters and it's available for just $3.45 a week or $179.40 a year.

Children of Sheriffs' office employees may also be eligible for educational scholarships through the Florida Sheriffs Association. For more information on the Law Enforcement membership, contact Kathy Young.
