Since 1893, the Florida Sheriffs Association has been the voice of Florida’s sheriffs, united in the service of protecting Florida’s citizens and visitors. We are committed to fostering the effectiveness of the Office of Sheriff through leadership, innovative practices, legislative initiatives, education and training.

The Sheriffs Summer Conference, usually held in central or south Florida, is the largest event of the year, providing participants with continuing education opportunities, networking, sharing of best practices, association news, award recognition and important updates in the field of law enforcement. This event attracts representatives from almost every Sheriff’s Office in the state as well as hundreds of partners, vendors, elected officials and others interested in engaging on topics important to the future of law enforcement in Florida.
Who Should Attend
This conference is one of our two major annual events for sheriffs. Sheriffs, command staff, sheriff’s office personnel, other law enforcement agency officials are encouraged to attend.

The Florida Sheriffs Association, in partnership with the Florida Association of Counties and Florida Fire Chiefs Association, are pleased to offer statewide purchasing contracts for local governments, county sheriffs, county government, local county boards, municipalities, police agencies, other local public or public safety agencies, and state universities and colleges. The Cooperative Purchasing Program within FSA has thrived since 1993 and continues to provide streamlined purchasing for local governments and their subsidiaries.
