The Florida Sheriffs Public Safety Institute was created by the Florida Sheriffs Association to provide valuable training on important public safety issues facing Florida’s citizens and visitors. This free training is made possible by the support of our honorary, business, and law enforcement members. Click below to learn how you can become a member of the Florida Sheriffs Association.
Participants can complete a portion of the training and return at a later time to complete the remaining sessions. After completion, participants can also review lessons at any time. The FSA Firearms Safety course is designed for those who are legally allowed to own and possess a firearm in the State of Florida. Course topics include:
