48: NSA President Sheriff Vernon Stanforth
In this episode, FSA speaks with the current president of the National Sheriff Association, Sheriff Vernon Stanforth. First elected Sheriff of Fayette County, Ohio in 1996, Sheriff Stanforth talks about how his role as sheriff has changed over the years in protecting the citizens of his rural southwestern Ohio county. Sheriff Stanforth was also a past president of the Buckeye State Sheriffs Association and has served on the National Sheriffs Association Board of Directors since 2007.
