Okeechobee County Fire/Rescue: volunteer firefighter, 1985; emergency medical technician, 1987; Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office: corrections, 1987-1990; road patrol deputy, 1990-1994; investigator, 1994-1998; corporal road patrol, 1998-2000; investigator, 2000-2001; captain road patrol, 2001-2005; major over law enforcement, corrections, finance and administration, 2005-2016; elected Sheriff of Okeechobee County, 2016 and re-elected 2020.
