June 22, 2011

June 22, 2011, St. Louis, MO…During their annual summer conference, the National Sheriffs Association selected law-enforcement professionals from two Florida Sheriffs' Offices for national awards.  Pinellas County Deputy Joni Goodley was named Law Enforcement Explorer Post Advisor of the Year and Brevard County Corrections Accreditation/Projects Manager and Policy/Procedures Administrator Jeffrey Jarvis received the Corrections/Jail Innovations Award of the Year.

The Florida Sheriffs Association congratulates Deputy Goodley and Mr. Jarvis for their accomplishments, as well as Pinellas County Sheriff Jim Coats and Brevard County Sheriff Jack Parker for their agencies' exemplary performance. We know it takes a team effort for such accomplishments.
