The Sheriffs of Florida stand united with Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Bobby Schultz, and his team today with the tragic news that two of his deputies were ambushed and murdered. The association, as well as surrounding counties, are assisting with the massive law enforcement response. In a family response, we have multiple agencies and sheriffs on-scene in Trenton, Florida. We are humbled by the countless offers of assistance and we grieve together as one family. We ask that Florida continue to support law enforcement and keep the community of Gilchrist county in your prayers.
