Crisis Intervention Training for Law Enforcement

The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) 40-hour Training for Law Enforcement is a comprehensive program designed to equip officers with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to effectively respond to situations involving individuals experiencing mental health crises or emotional distress. Developed in collaboration with mental health professionals and community stakeholders, this training emphasizes a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to crisis intervention.

During this intensive course, participants will:

  • Gain Understanding of Mental Health Disorders
  • Develop De-escalation Techniques
  • Collaborate with Community Resources
  • Enhance Crisis Response Skills
  • Foster Trauma-Informed Care
