FSA Student Scholarships - Criminal Justice Field

June 02, 2021

According to Trends in College Pricing and Student Aid, the average cost of college for an in-state student attending a four-year public college is $26,820. Students attending an out-of-state or private college can face almost double that amount! Many students utilize some form of financial aid to obtain the necessary funds, but these may come with substantial disadvantages, such as high interest payments.

For many years FSA has offered scholarships to students who are seeking a career in law enforcement and have a parent working full-time law at a sheriff’s office. In 2015 we expanded the program to include those majoring in the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).

We know that you support law enforcement and that you are aware of the financial challenges faced by those in public service. This is a way we can help the next generation become who they are meant to be.

The Criminal Justice Field scholarship registration has officially opened. FSA is now accepting applications for at least 10 scholarships of $2,000 each for the school term beginning in the Fall 2021. Applications are due June 30, 2021.

Donate today to make an impact in the life of these students and their parents, who work to serve and protect us every day. Your gift will help FSA reach its goal to provide a $2,000 scholarship to at least 25 students studying law enforcement, science, technology, engineering or math.
