Each year, the Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA) invests in our state’s future by recognizing ambitious, high-achieving students whose parents serve in Florida sheriffs’ offices. This year, FSA awarded its STEM Scholarship to 12 exceptional recipients pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

Tallahassee, FL (May 11, 2023) – The Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA) invests in the state of Florida each year by encouraging and rewarding bright, hard-working students whose parents work in a Florida sheriff’s office. This year, the FSA has awarded a STEM Scholarship to 10 high-achieving students who are pursuing a career in a STEM-related field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).

Every year, the Florida Sheriffs Association is the host of two widely attended sheriffs’ conferences. This year’s second event, the Sheriffs 2022 Summer Conference, was held on July 24 – 27 at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate in Osceola County, Florida.
