1993-1994, Florida Department of Corrections; 1994-1996, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office; 1996-2003 St. Augustine Police Department; 2003-2013 Office of the State Attorney, 7th Circuit; 2013-2020 Chief of Police St. Augustine Beach; Elected St. Johns County Sheriff, 2020.

Honors and Affiliations

Military deployments include: Operation Desert Storm in 1990 with the 82nd Airborne Division, Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004 with the 53rd Infantry Brigade supporting the 5th Special Forces Group; Retired Platoon Trainer (TAC), Camp Blanding Regional Training Institute’s Officer Candidate School (OCS); Appointed by Governor Rick Scott in 2016 to the Criminal Justice and Standards Training Commission (CJSTC); Former Chair for the Officer Discipline Penalty Guidelines Task Force and Chair for the Florida League of Cities’ Law Enforcement Advisory Panel, (LEAP); Currently serves on the Region V Training Council and the St. Johns River State College Criminal Justice Academy Advisory Board; School Advisory Board for the St. Joseph Academy Catholic High School; Florida Sheriffs Association Legislative Committee and Accreditation Advisory Committee; Current local volunteer youth football coach.
