In this episode, FSA speaks with Rear Admiral Eric Jones, who serves as commander of the Seventh Coast Guard District headquartered in Miami.  Rear Admiral Jones is responsible for all Coast Guard operations in the Southeast United States and the Caribbean Basin, which encompasses an area of 1.8 million square miles and shares operational borders with 34 foreign nations and territories. We discuss how the Coast Guard and sheriffs work closely every day to keep our waterways safe and secure.
